How can I contact you if I have more questions?

Please reach out to Carolyn (908-358-8817) or Lily (843-415-5460) directly if you need anything. Feel free to also drop us an email at bartell.steinberg.wedding@gmail.com.

What’s the dress code?

‘On paper’ the dress code is ‘Spring Floral Formal’. ‘Spring formal’ sounded too much like a high school dance and ‘Floral formal’ had a lot of alliteration, so we made a bit of a mashup. We would love to see suits and ties and formal dresses with floral accents. For footwear, keep in mind that our ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass, while the reception will be indoors.

What kind of weather should we plan for?

Great question! If you've been in the northeast the past few springs, you will know that the first week of May is historically unpredictable. We have a lot of contingency plans based on weather so just make sure you have comfortable footwear and plan for both warm and cooler temps.

Will there be an open bar?

Obviously. All events will also feature some signature cocktails and mocktails so all can partake!

Will transportation be provided?

Given that there are multiple hotels and various other accommodations that guests will be staying at for the wedding weekend, we will not be providing any group transportation. **As the area isn't as frequented by cabs or other car services, it is strongly encouraged that if you are not staying within walking distance of the venue (i.e. Hotel Kinsley or nearby AirBnb), that you pre-book an Uber or Lyft for the evening of the wedding. Uber and Lyft can often have wait times of 15-20minutes, so please plan ahead!**

Where should I park?

Parking is plentiful in downtown Kingston and the town uses the 'Flowbird' app for parking spot payment. For the wedding ceremony and reception, we recommend parking in the parking lot of the Senate House. The parking lot can be entered from Clinton Avenue. There is also a good amount of street parking around and near the venue. **We ask that no matter where you park, that all guests enter the ceremony from the gate located on Fair Street.**

What time should I arrive?

Guests should arrive between 5pm - 5:20pm, in anticipation of a prompt 5:30pm ceremony start time. We ask that all guests enter for the ceremony from the gate located on Fair Street. If you are family members of either Carolyn or Lily, an earlier arrival time will be arranged for photos prior to the ceremony.

Are kids invited?

We love your children, really we do but to give everyone (parents included!) the opportunity to let their hair down, we've decided not to invite children.

What date should I RSVP by?

March 15th, 2026, please and thank you! You can RSVP on this website at the RSVP header above.

Is it okay to post photos on social media of your wedding and take photos throughout the weekend?

Yes! Please! We want to document our special weekend together in as many ways as possible. And please tag us in social media posts so we don't miss anything! You can also share your photos and videos by scanning the QR code (in your welcome pamphlet and posted throughout the venues) to upload items to our shared album. **We do ask that you refrain from using your phone during the ceremony as we have two wonderful professional photographers, Dan and Alyson, who will be capturing that important moment for us.**

What are the nearest transit hubs?

Bus: Trailways runs daily buses from NYC Port Authority to Kingston; the station is a five-minute walk to the venue. Train: Amtrak riders can get off at Rhinecliff station and reach the venue in 15 minutes by car. Car: Kingston is about 100 miles (just under 2hours) north of New York City. Airport: We recommend flying into one of the many NY/NYC airports (Albany, LaGuardia, JFK, White Plains, Newark) and making your way upstate via car, train or bus.

Who should I inform about my dietary restrictions or allergies?

Our menu will have something for everyone, no matter the restriction, allergy or preference, but please let Carolyn or Lily know about any specifics we should take into consideration and make our caterer aware of, by contacting us directly or including it in your RSVP.

Where should I bring/send my wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding and sharing our special weekend with us is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 4502 Ditmars Blvd., Apt. 112, Astoria, NY 11105. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
